Fountain Tire recognized top-performing leaders from across Canada this March at an Owners’ Convention celebrating the company’s 70th anniversary year. The organization’s highest honour, Most Valuable Player (MVP), was presented to Brian Adcock, owner of the Fountain Tire Innisfail, Alberta store.
“Since acquiring Fountain Tire Innisfail, Brian has delivered results that reflect exemplary leadership and a deep commitment to our values,” says Jason Herle, Chief Executive Officer at Fountain Tire. “Along with building a high-performing business, he continues to invest in his team and his community—hallmarks of our partnership approach.”
A veteran of 35+ years
A Fountain Tire veteran of more than 35 years, Adcock has held ownership in six locations through the company’s 50/50 partnership model. He is a multi-year Benchmark Award recipient, having consistently exceeded financial targets while maintaining strong safety and customer satisfaction scores. In 2025, Adcock opened the Fountain Tire Innisfail location, which surpassed revenue expectations in its first year of operation and earned two local Readers’ Choice awards from the community.
Adcock says the secret to success is building a culture of community both within and outside his Fountain Tire store.
“At every new location, I immediately establish a sense of friendship among the team, which customers feel the moment they enter the store,” he explains. “I also invest generously in the community that supports us. Here in Innisfail, that includes sport, rodeo, farming, auctions and local business associations.”
In addition to his business success, Adcock is known across the Fountain Tire network for mentoring the next generation of store owners—a legacy that was evident at this year’s convention where five store owners who have come up through his stores were in attendance.
“Being named Fountain Tire MVP is an honour that leaves you breathless,” says Adcock. “I’m especially proud to receive it in this 70th anniversary year, and with five of my previous associates here as store partners.”
Established in 2004, the MVP award is presented annually to one owner from Fountain Tire’s network of 170 locations. Recipients are evaluated based on leadership, community involvement, customer relationships and safety.
Also recognized at the Owners’ Convention:
- Rookie of the Year: Vishal Chaudhary (Vaughn, ON)
- Most Improved Retail: Iain McCann (North Vancouver, BC)
- Most Improved Mixed: Chris Hovagimian (Airdrie, AB)
