Unimax continues to see growth and expansion across Canada. Recently, the organization named Mark Pereira as Vice President of Sales, Ontario and National Major Accounts.
In his new role, Pereira will lead sales strategy across Ontario while accelerating the development of national major account partnerships across the country for Unimax and its portfolio of brands, including Distribution Stox, RSSW wheels and Point S.
Pereira comes to his new role with an extensive background and leadership in the automotive aftermarket sector and has a history of mobilizing teams, building long term relationships and optimizing performance. Peirera’s experience has resulted in a unique understanding of the Ontario market, as well as the dynamics specific to national Canadian accounts. This ties in with Unimax’s commitment to establishing regional hubs and strengthening its presence in the province, which represents Canada’s largest market.
Prior to joining Unimax, Peirera served as Division Vice President, Canada for Midas. In this role he oversaw more than 130 service locations across the country, and was responsible driving Key Performance Metrics, managing national field teams, and guiding market specific growth strategies.
He has also served in senior leadership roles with Sailun Tire Americas as well as on the agency side of the automotive sector, representing brands such as Honda Canada and Valvoline.
“Mark’s arrival represents an important step in the implementation of our Canada-wide strategy. His experience, understanding of the Ontario market and human and structured approach make him a leader who will support our teams and accelerate growth,” said Frédéric Déry, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Unimax.
Déry added that, “I am confident that Mark will play a key role in strengthening our presence in Ontario and positioning us as a major partner for national accounts.”
