Sold out event proved a huge hit.

On June 12, the Ontario Tire Dealers Association (OTDA) hosted its annual Golf Classic at the Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club in Vineland, Ont. This year was particularly special as it marked the 25th anniversary of this popular event.

“We had a sold-out tournament this year,” said Adam Moffatt, Executive Director, OTDA. “There were 144 golfers registered and we sold out in just four weeks, which was a record for us,” said Moffatt. He noted that the event was so popular that 22 golfers were added to the waiting list.

Sponsors came out in a big way to support the event, which took place amid near perfect weather. “We had 22 sponsors, including vendors and various suppliers in the tire industry which was really great,” explained Moffatt.

OTDA has been active since 1955 and represents the interests of the tire industry in Ontario. Currently OTDA boasts more than 500 members, including tire dealers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and vendors that sell more than 60% of all passenger car and light truck, medium truck and agricultural tires in the province.
