The hitch features a patent-pending 2-inch stainless steel receiver designed to prevent rust staining while remaining fully concealed behind the rear bumper when not in use.
Towing solution manufacturer Torklift has introduced a new EcoHitch® trailer hitch engineered specifically for the Toyota Highlander EV.
The hitch features a patent-pending 2-inch stainless steel receiver designed to prevent rust staining while remaining fully concealed behind the rear bumper when not in use. The design preserves vehicle ground clearance, maintains rear sensor functionality for hands-free tailgate operation, and allows direct fitment for standard 2-inch bike racks and cargo carriers without noise-inducing adapters.
Preliminary engineering targets include an estimated tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.
Shipments are projected to begin in Summer 2026.
