Canadian automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket distributor UAP has announced a four-year, $100,000 financial contribution to the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation. The donation commemorates the company’s centenary, marking 100 years since opening its inaugural United Auto Parts retail store on Park Avenue in Montreal in 1926.
For associate store owners, commercial fleet operators, and independent repair facilities across NAPA Auto Parts and Traction networks, the philanthropic milestone highlights the distributor’s long-term commercial stability and corporate heritage. Now operating as a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, UAP manages a national distribution footprint servicing light-vehicle and heavy-duty maintenance channels nationwide.
The four-year partnership officially launches on October 23 as UAP serves as the presenting sponsor for the annual Bal de MTL benefit event, co-chaired by UAP President Alain Primeau. Focused on the history of transportation logistics, the event reinforces the distributor’s corporate presence within the Canadian commercial sector while supporting local economic and cultural development.
