Alongside celebrations of its 50th anniversary in North America, KYB unveiled two innovations during the latest annual aftermarket gathering in Las Vegas.
The new line of pre-assembled struts, designed to simplify installation and reduce technician labour time, was among the booth’s highlights. Each assembly comes with mounts and brackets pre-assembled and adjusted to OEM specifications. This solution reduces the risk of damage from improper tool usage and helps minimize comebacks. It also streamlines inventory management by consolidating multiple components into a single box.

The enhanced strut assembly for pickup trucks represents the second innovation. Unlike traditional methods requiring spacers, KYB offers an extended strut that raises the vehicle’s front end by two inches without additional components. This system improves stability and accommodates heavier wheels and tires.
Drawing on five decades of experience, KYB continues to innovate while investing in technician and parts professional development, notably through the addition of a new dedicated technical trainer. The company anticipates market needs with plans to expand its product line, particularly for electric vehicles, a rapidly growing segment. Major announcements are planned for the coming year, reflecting the Japanese hydraulics specialist’s motto: “Celebrating our past and looking toward our future.”
