On June 6th, members of the Manitoba Automotive Aftermarket along with Child & Family Services Western Manitoba (CFSWM) hosted their 18th Annual Golf tournament.  The Sun Fund for Kids Westman is administered by CFSWM with 100% of the monies raised used to send children to various area camps. The Sun Fund for Kids Westman was spearheaded by Brian Marshall with the Brandon Sun and CFS Western Manitoba in 1988.

The tournament was held at Shilo Golf Course in Shilo Manitoba and attended by 31 golfers with 43 Sun Fund Hole Sponsors, many of whom have been supporters since the inaugural tournament in 2005. A great day of golf was had by all who once again enjoyed the challenging course under sunny skies. At the post-tournament dinner, Manitoba Automotive Aftermarket members presented a cheque for $5,300.00 to CFS Western Manitoba C.E.O. Arlene Stewart. This year’s tournament donation brings the 18-year total donated to Sun Fund for Kids is over $126,000.00.

Thanks to tournament organizers Pete Lepage, Auto Parts Central Brandon, Mark Gillis, CFSWM, Jason Dueck, CFSWM and Brent Karr, Bestbuy Distributors Ltd.
