Held at the Delta Hotel on the Airport Strip in Toronto, AIA Canada’s National Conference on April 23rd and 24th, was well attended—over two hundred— and gave attendees a wealth of information.

The opening session—”Overcoming labour market challenges in the industry: Current and future opportunities” was eye-opening and a little alarming. From the information we saw, the aftermarket has some work ahead of it. Concurrent sessions followed in the afternoon as well and were also most informative and engaging.

The big event occurred after lunch—the presentation of the 2024 Distinguished Service Award. Being presented by Brad Shaddick, last year’s award winner, the award was bestowed on Bill Hay, President, E.R.I. Group.

Afternoon sessions were next up and again, very interesting to all those in the aftermarket.

All in all a great day for information and networking.

A more detailed and informative article has been posted by Michel Beaunoyer with additional details.
