AIA Canada has requested that all of us in the automotive aftermarket have our voices heard on the issue of the Right to Repair.

Vehicle technology is showing no signs of slowing down making the need for Right to Repair legislation more important than ever. The right to repair ensures that vehicle owners can freely choose where they get their vehicles repaired and serviced.

Bill C-224, which passed unanimously in the House of Commons in October 2023 and is now being studied in the Senate, is a key starting point to pave the way for exclusive rights to repair legislation for vehicles. Make your voice heard and advocate to the government through the AIA’s pre-written letter that this bill must pass without delay.

Tell the government you support the right to repair.
