All systems go as ENEOS ambassadors Evasive Motorsports and Dai Yoshihara are set for international competition with the Evasive Honda S2000RS, battling in the Pro Class at the 2024 World Time Attack Challenge at Sydney Motorsport Park in Australia this August 30-21.

ENEOS supports Evasive during the team’s first endeavour to Australia, the ultimate goal being, “To be the fastest time attack car in and from the USA,” according to Evasive CEO, Mike Chang. “WTAC has always been a bucket list event for us; since the early 2010s when we saw the Cyber EVO and other legendary cars compete, we knew one day we had to be there. We’re excited to see how our S2000RS compares with other lap times set by other legendary S2Ks.”

The Evasive S2000RS has seen five Pikes Peak International Hill Climb campaigns in various configurations, but the most recent S2000RS version has the record for the fastest S2K at Buttonwillow Raceway (1:41.1) and is also the fastest Honda at WeatherTech Laguna Seca (1:25.0).

Chang adds, “The S2000RS was built for time attack, and given our history at Pikes Peak, it’s inevitable that we’d put it to the challenge at WTAC!”

Stay tuned for further details as Evasive and Yoshihara continue to make further developments to the S2000RS in preparation for Sydney.
