AAPEX 2023: WD-40 Smart Straw Offers New Versatility

WD-40 Multi-Use Spray has long been a favourite with both DIY mechanics and professional service technicians for solving maintenance issues including seized and corroded bolts and fittings.
At AAPEX 2023, Autosphere met up with Azadbir Rai from the company’s Canadian operations. Rai explained that the new WD-40 Smart Straw offers even greater versatility, enabling technicians to access hard-to-reach places without fear of losing the straw. It also features a child lock mechanism for added safety.
“We currently have it available in a 325-gram format and will also be offering a 226-gram version that we expect to arrive early in 2024,” Rai said.
In lock-step with the new products, WD-40 is also launching educational videos that showcase the benefits of Smart Straw technology, to complement its existing online content.
