Vast-Auto Distribution, a division of Groupe Del Vasto, a company active in the distribution and marketing of automotive parts in Eastern Canada, and a shareholder member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, has just announced the acquisition of the assets of Pièces d’Autos Victo and Freins Démarreurs Plessis, as well as the shares of Pièces d’Autos Thetford.

Pièces d’autos Victo, Freins Démarreurs Plessis, and Pièces d’Autos Thetford constitute a group of three auto parts stores located in the Centre-du-Québec region.

Founded in 2008 by Normand Roy, Pièces d’Autos Victo has transformed itself over the course of its 15-year existence, establishing itself as the dominant auto parts wholesaler and retailer in the Centre-du-Québec region.

Since the opening of its first store in Victoriaville, the company has been continuously committed to serving professional machine shops with a wide assortment of products and a highly qualified staff of parts specialists.

Today, Roy is delighted to hand over the reins of his company to the Del Vasto Group. He explains his choice by expressing that he shares the same values and vision. “We’ve always worked hard to ensure customer satisfaction and to build up a vast inventory of quality products. Groupe Del Vasto is established as a leader in the Canadian auto parts distribution market, and I am confident that they are the best choice for the future of my stores, my loyal customers and my dedicated employees. We are proud to see Groupe Del Vasto continue the work they have already accomplished,” said Mr. Roy in a press release.

The completion of this transaction plays a pivotal role for the Del Vasto Group in its long-term growth plan, expanding its footprint in Eastern Canada and increasing its market share.

Maintaining confidence

Mauro Cifelli, President and CEO of Del Vasto Group explains: “We are honoured by Mr. Roy’s choice regarding the sale of his company. His trust is invaluable, and his ongoing involvement with the company will ensure a smooth transition. We are committed to maintaining the trust established between Mr. Roy and his employees, while continuing to provide impeccable customer service.”

Jordan and Raphaël Roy will continue in their roles as assistant managers of the Victoriaville and Plessisville stores, while Nicolas Lévesque will continue to manage the Thetford Mines store.

Finally, Roy wishes to underline the commitment of his teams and the pride he feels in what has been built, adding: “Pride is the word that best represents how I feel today. We’ve all worked very hard, and today we have customers who really trust us.”

Cifelli adds: “We are delighted to welcome the 40 members of his team and all his customers to the Del Vasto Group. We are confident that our culture and commitment to our customers and employees will align with Mr. Roy’s business vision”.
