19th annual event proved hugely popular and fun, supporting a great cause.

On July 20, NAPA Ontario hosted its 19th annual summer charity golf tournament. This year’s event took place at the picturesque Flamborough Hills Golf Club near Hamilton, Ont. The course, with its rolling hills and great vistas, was the perfect location and 174 attendees had a great time playing 18 holes, raising money for a good cause—Make-a-Wish Canada.

It was as if Mother Nature was being benevolent that day since golfing wrapped up just before the rains came. A total of $7500 was raised for Make-a-Wish, an impressive tally by all accounts.

Natalie Anderson, Development Officer at Make-a-Wish Canada, noted that in 2023, the organization is celebrating its 40th anniversary in helping children diagnosed with critical illnesses, the chance for their wishes to come true. “We are thrilled to be sharing this milestone with NAPA and everyone who has been supporting us,” said Anderson. “Since 1983, we have granted more than 37,000 wishes and together we have made an incredible impact.”
