ASE xEV Webinar Sets Attendance Records

The recent ASE webinar that covered ASE’s new EV high-voltage electrical safety standards and tests set an attendance record with over 2,300 automotive service professionals actively participating in real-time and nearly 1,000 more viewing the recording.

“When we announced the new ASE EV standards and testing options earlier this year, we knew there would be a lot of interest, so we scheduled an informational webinar to shed some light and answer questions,” said Trish Serratore, Senior Vice President of Communications for ASE. “The popular webinar also served as a helpful resource for automotive service professionals to navigate EV standards and procedures and prepare them for the ASE certification exam.”

Corey Glassman and Matt Shepanek with ASE hosted the webinar and discussed topics related to the recently introduced ASE xEV high-voltage electrical safety standards and tests for automobiles and medium-heavy duty vehicles. Among the issues covered were the design and development of the xEV high-voltage electrical safety standards, identifying the differences between Level 1, 2 and 3 tests, and the test delivery through NetExam.

Over 6,500 people registered for the webinar with a total of 3,334 taking part in the webinar either live or watching the recorded version. For those who registered, but have not yet watched the webinar, it is still available for viewing.
