The buzz over at the NGK AAPEX booth was resolutely focused on engine management and ignition system components.
While the NGK brand is widely known for its spark plug and ignition system components, as NGK Major Account Executive Steve Pigg explains, the company has expanded its offering to become a true engine management system component specialist.
As Steve Pigg explains, the new lines of probes, switches, and sensors, designed to optimize engine performance and reduce emissions, will be marketed under the NTK brand. While he noted that while all of these parts are designed for easy installation, in October, the company launched the online Shop Squad community in Canada, hoping to attract 1,000 participants. This community of experts will allow participants to exchange information on all things engine management and ignition-system related.
