We have been notified that Slapshots for a Cause has been cancelled for 2021 by the Board of the event.

Chair Keith Gordon said, “With great reluctance, the Slap Shots Board once again announces the cancellation of the Slapshots for a Cause Charity hockey tournament.

“We look forward to returning in 2022 in support of a great cause and fantastic industry event!”

This would have been the 31st annual fun-filled hockey event that saw two fifty-minutes games taking place—and, of course, everyone was a winner—no losers at this event! The hockey games raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society through registration fees, the Sponsor a Sweater Program and donations.

In addition, ice rental has been generously donated by Jan Koval for the last ten years, great savings for the Cause.

So you have ample time to get in shape, get the skates sharpened and the sticks taped for hopefully ‘Slapshots for a Cause 2022’ and help raise needed donations for the Canadian Cancer Society.
