Lumileds has launched its new line of Philips Ultinon Essential LED Headlights for the Canadian market.
These innovative headlights are a direct and easy to install replacement for conventional halogen headlight bulbs and deliver a powerful, bright white light. The Philips Ultinon Essential LED headlights feature an all-in-one configuration, with driver electronics integrated into the body. Their compact design makes for simple installation in a wide range of car models.
Philips Ultinon Essential LED Headlights create a stylish white light with a colour temperature of up to 6500 K. The bulbs feature dual heat-dissipation technology, which includes an aluminum heatsink coupled with an integrated fan to dissipate heat more effectively and efficiently. This helps deliver long-lasting performance and a service life of up to 1500 hours.*
“The Philips Ultinon Essential LED Headlights provide unmatched style for a wide variety of applications,” notes Chris McPhedran, Lumileds National Sales Manager, Canada. “The design and components used in these bulbs represent the latest in LED lighting technology and ensure the ultimate performance and safety for drivers. Along with their compact size and ease of installation, we look forward to delivering complete LED forward lighting solutions to consumers across Canada.”
The new Philips Ultinon Essential LED bulbs are 12V and 24V compatible and available for H1, H3, H4, H7, H9, H11, 9004, 9005/9006, 9007, 9008, 9012, and 9145 applications, as well as H8/H11/H16 and PS24W Fog Light replacements. Sold in packs of two, Philips Ultinon Essential LED Headlights are available for sale now. Aftermarket LED Headlights are legal for street use in Canada.
Please note: Some vehicle CANbus systems see the lower power consumption of LED headlights as a sign of a burned-out bulb, causing dashboard warnings, high-beam indications, or LED flickering. Installing a Philips LED CANbus adapter solves these issues. Installation is easy and takes only minutes.
*Lifetime differs per type, indication for H7 only (1500 hours is the EMEA results of TC at 13.2V).
