Sylvain Murphy Appointed General Manager of CPA Montreal

The Parity Committee of the Automotive Services Industry of the Montreal region is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sylvain Murphy to the position of General Manager.

He is scheduled to take office on November 2, 2020. With his 17 years of experience as a member of the Board of Directors, including as President and Vice-President, Mr. Murphy will work to pursue the organization’s strategic initiatives and strengthen ties with the various industry players.

An automotive mechanic and expert trainer by trade, Mr. Murphy has served as a union representative for Syndicat Unifor local 4511 for over 17 years and has been its president for the past 13 years. He has also served on the boards of directors and executive committees of the Automotive Service Industry Sectoral Manpower Committee and the Auto Prevention Automotive Services Sectoral Association. His leadership and in-depth knowledge of the industry will be an undeniable asset for the development of CPA Montréal’s activities.
