Astus announced the appointment of its President, Mr. Benoit Lacroix, as President of the Executive Committee of Propulsion Québec, the electric and intelligent transportation cluster.

Benoit Lacroix joined Astus over a year ago, taking over from the former president and founder.

His involvement in Propulsion Québec’s governance team will certainly be an asset to encourage the mobilization of all industry players and contribute to positioning Québec among the world leaders in electric and intelligent transportation.

A true electric mobility enthusiast, Lacroix has set himself the challenge of having a positive environmental impact by helping companies make their energy and digital transitions in the marketplace. A recognized player in the field of electric vehicles (EVs) and energy transition, He has been an active and involved member of Propulsion Québec for many years.

Before joining Astus, Benoit Lacroix co-founded a company specialized in the electrification of heavy trucks. In this capacity, he was highly involved in the innovation process, creation, financing as well as strategic and business development activities.

Lacroix also holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure, where his thesis focused on optimizing the fuel efficiency of commercial vehicles using advanced data analysis techniques.
