Funded by its 225-dealer network, Hyundai Canada’s $433,500 healthcare donation reinforces dealer community engagement across major Quebec hospital research centers.
Hyundai Auto Canada has concluded the Quebec leg of its annual Hyundai Hope on Wheels charitable campaign, distributing $433,500 in research funding between the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation in Montreal and the Fondation Charles-Bruneau in Quebec City. The philanthropic initiative is funded through corporate contributions tied to new vehicle sales across Hyundai’s 225 Canadian franchised dealerships.
For automotive dealer principals, general managers, and regional retail networks, supporting specialized healthcare research builds consumer goodwill and strengthens local community ties. According to the automaker, $333,500 has been allocated to the CHU Sainte-Justine to advance clinical trial access through its pediatric oncology research unit, supported by a specialized research grant awarded in partnership with the national C17 Council.
The remaining $100,000 contribution was granted to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau to support hematology-oncology projects at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval. Directing retail transaction proceeds into local hospital initiatives provides franchised dealers with a tangible corporate citizenship footprint across key provincial markets.
