(SCI) has finalized specification and pricing arrays for its next-generation EV, the 2027 Subaru Uncharted. In a bold market move, the manufacturer announced that every model in the incoming lineup will feature a definitive $2,000 price reduction compared to 2026 baselines.

The 2027 Uncharted portfolio retains a flexible build selection, offering two front-wheel-drive configurations (FWD and FWD LR Long Range) alongside high-output Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive variants (Sport and GT trims). SCI confirmed that all configurations qualify for the federal iZEV program (referred to in French operations as PAVE), ensuring maximum incentive stackability at the dealership finance office.

The 2027 Uncharted infrastructure updates elevate practical everyday usability metrics:

• Output & Range Dynamics: Anchored by a high-capacity 77.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the front-wheel-drive Long Range model delivers up to 496 kilometers of range paired with 221 horsepower. The performance-focused AWD Sport and GT versions push 338 horsepower while maintaining up to 438 kilometers of driving range under ideal conditions.

• Native NACS Charge Interface: The 2027 model standardizes the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port configuration, giving owners seamless, adapter-free access to high-speed public fast-charging networks across Canada at speeds reaching 150 kW.

• Thermal Management Upgrades: The inclusion of an advanced onboard battery preconditioning system optimizes cold-weather fast charging. In harsh winter environments, the battery pack can recover from a 10% to 80% state of charge in approximately 30 minutes on a Level 3 DC fast charger.

Inside, the cabin features a standard 14-inch touchscreen infotainment hub featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, accompanied by an expanded EyeSight advanced driver assistance suite. 

The 2027 Subaru Uncharted is scheduled to begin commercial rolling logistics and arrive at Canadian dealer showrooms across the country by late 2026.
