Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) announced on August 6th its 2025 model year lineup.
A host of model updates for Outlander PHEV, Eclipse Cross and RVR offer increased comfort and connectivity, while a mid-cycle refresh for 2025 upgrades the interior and exterior of Outlander ICE.
Pricing and full details on all models will be announced closer to each vehicle’s launch.
2025 Outlander PHEV
As the world’s first plug-in hybrid electric SUV, and still Canada’s best-selling all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid electric SUV, the Outlander PHEV boasts the same advanced vehicle architecture as the internal combustion engine (ICE)-powered Outlander, which has set sales record after sales record, garnering praise from consumers and accolades and awards across the industry.
New for 2025, the Outlander PHEV offers an SE trim, which sits between the entry ES and mid-grade LE trims. The SE trim includes all of the ES trim equipment, but adds silver front and rear skid plate styling, LED fog lights, power-folding function to the heated power side-view mirrors, silver roof rails, power panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, smartphone wireless charger, FAST-Key keyless entry, heated steering wheel and hands-free power liftgate.
Featuring an award-winning mix of confident, quiet, eco-friendly motoring, every Outlander PHEV sports powerful front and rear motors and a 20-kWh drive battery, as well as Mitsubishi Motors’ Super-All-Wheel Control twin-motor 4WD system. NRCAN-rated for 61 kilometres of all-electric driving range, Outlander PHEV also boasts 687 kilometres of overall driving range.
2025 Outlander
Building on the overwhelming success of the new generation 2022 Outlander, the 2025 Outlander ICE looks to continue its award-winning ways and record-setting sales pace with a mid-cycle refresh. Full details on the update will be available closer to the vehicle’s launch in the first quarter of 2025, but highlights include upgraded features and improved quality on the exterior and throughout the interior.
Pricing for the three-row, seven-passenger 2025 Outlander will be released later this year.
2025 Eclipse Cross
The 2025 Eclipse Cross retains its predecessor’s chiseled front and rear design enhancements and adds standard Rear Seat Alert. The popular NOIR Edition returns for the 2025 model year. Based on the SE trim, the NOIR adds many of the SEL features and includes the panoramic sunroof from the GT, as well as upgraded seats and a range of black accents inside and out, including a bold NOIR spoiler.
Every 2025 Eclipse Cross is outfitted with Mitsubishi Motors’ signature motorsport-derived S-AWC allwheel drive system as standard equipment, which helps in various weather conditions and types of road surfaces.
2025 RVR
Long one of Mitsubishi Motors’ best-selling models in Canada, the RVR combines an adventurous spirit with great value in an award-winning package for the 2025 model year. RVR continues to offer Mitsubishi Motors’ All-Wheel Control (AWC) as standard equipment on all but the entry ES FWD.
Continuing Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to safety, the 2025 RVR will add Rear Seat Alert as standard equipment.
