The Reynolds and Reynolds Company announced the official details for its Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify 2024.
This year, the event is being held at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia, on August 19 and 20. It seeks to foster an environment where attendees explore collaboration and innovation as the retail automotive industry pushes forward into the future.
“Last year’s summit was a resounding success, and we’re excited to host yet another event this year,” said Chris Walsh, President of Reynolds. “At Reynolds, we strive to help dealerships improve their businesses by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and demonstrating how to use tools to maximize potential. The goal of this summit is to help dealers find new ways to amplify their outcomes.”
Educational workshops
The summit will once again feature several educational workshops dedicated to looking at dealership processes and best practices. Topics include:
- FTC compliance
- Data and security
- Accounting
- eContracting and contracts-in-transit
- Used vehicles
- Service processes
- Digital retailing
It all kicks off with a community-building golf outing on Monday, August 19, on the Robert Trent Jones Jr. course at the Lansdowne Resort. The 7,063-yard, par-72 course offers mental and physical tests with risk/reward holes and a friendly yet strategic layout that is sure to result in a memorable round of golf.
The outing is open to event attendees on a first-come, first-served basis until spots are filled. Those interested should register as soon as possible.
Following the round of golf, Reynolds will hold a reception and dinner at Lansdowne Resort to welcome guests to the summit. Set in beautiful northern Virginia, near the banks of the historic Potomac River and a short drive from Leesburg and Dulles International Airport, the resort offers a peaceful and relaxed setting to connect.
Rooms for an overnight stay are available. Interested attendees should register by July 19 to secure a complimentary room at the resort.
Summit day 2
Day two of the summit will kick off with breakfast and a keynote address, followed by workshops and lunch. Attendees can also explore the Reynolds expo area to demo products and see firsthand how they improve efficiency, increase accuracy, and help enhance customer satisfaction.
Finally, Reynolds will be celebrating innovation at the event by holding the final round of its Automotive Amplifiers Contest. Individuals who have come up with best practices in the areas of variable operations, fixed operations, or their local communities will have a chance to present their innovations to the judges and attendees. A winner in each category will be chosen on site. Each will be recognized as a trailblazer in the retail automotive industry, receiving a donation of $5,000 made in their name to the charity of their choice.
With flexibility built into every aspect of the event, attendees will be able to tailor their summit experience, no matter who they are or what DMS they use.
“Dealers know their needs better than anyone, and they know where they want to see improvement,” concluded Walsh. “This year, just like last, we want them to leave the summit having learned how to grow their business.”
