With ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic and continued safety measures to stem the spread of the virus, the Canadian International AutoShow announced the cancellation of its live in-person format for 2021 back on September 15th, with the intention of hosting a unique manufacturer-led virtual presentation instead.

However, after months of in-depth discussions and joint review of multiple different virtual platforms with AutoShow manufacturer partners, brand participation levels in line with what consumers could expect at a typical live event couldn’t be secured and has led to a refocusing of plans.

More details about plans for a digital showcase of manufacturer and industry automotive content will be shared in the coming weeks.
