Volvo Reports September Sales

Volvo Canada reported sales of 1,065 units for the month of September, a year over year increase of 22 percent.

Year to date Volvo Cars Canada has sold a total of 6,204 vehicles, with September representing the best XC60 month on record with total sales of 462 units.

September also marked yet another consecutive month of growth for Certified by Volvo, with 401 units sold, representing an 85 percent growth year over year.

Volvo Cars global sales continued to grow in September, with volumes up 4.8 per cent compared with the same period last year, driven by double digit sales increases in China and the US.

The company sold 67,636 cars during the month and the volume growth was driven by a continued strong demand for Volvo Cars’ award-winning SUV range.

In the first nine months, Volvo Cars sold 451,128 cars, down 11.1 per cent compared with the same period last year.
