The all-new 2021 Toyota Venza is now on sale at Toyota Dealers across Canada.

“This is an all-new Venza – and an all-new expression of what a mid-size crossover can be,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “From performance, efficiency, and safety, to a long list of features and premium amenities as standard equipment, the Venza breaks new ground – and does so at an impressively accessible price.”

By 2025, Toyota intends to offer Canadians an electrified option of every model it sells and have those vehicles represent 40 percent of overall sales. Built around a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and three electric motors, the Toyota Hybrid System has been specially tailored to this model. The engine has 219 horsepower and an estimated fuel efficiency of 6.1L / 100km (city/highway combined).

Venza’s technology package is anchored by Connected Services by Toyota. Venza also has a bundle of systems headlined by Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 – a suite of technologies that enhance protection and support the driver’s awareness and decision-making. Other safety features on all models include the Toyota Star Safety System, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a backup camera.

All new Venza models feature an electronic on-demand all-wheel drive system that switches from 100 percent front wheel drive to distribute up to 80 percent of driving force to the rear wheels. The result is more traction in inclement weather, more handling and stability while accelerating or cornering, and enhanced fuel efficiency.

Venza’s Drive-Mode Select system includes Sport and Eco settings to tailor the vehicle’s performance to the prevailing weather and road conditions, while EV mode enables low-speed electric only driving for short distances.

Toyota offers the Venza in three trim levels, as follows:

  • The 2021 Toyota Venza LE features 18” alloy wheels, a power liftgate, display audio system with 8” touch screen, a 4.2” multi-information display, leather-wrapped steering wheel on power-adjustable steering column, a wireless charging system for personal electronics, heated front seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat including an auto-slide-away function that moves the seat to the rearmost position to ease entry and exit. The Connect Services by Toyota on this model include Remote Connect, Service Connect, and Safety Connect.
  • The 2021 Toyota Venza XLE adds several upgrades, including 19” alloy wheels, a nine-speaker, 1200-watt JBL Audio System with 12.3” touch screen, a 7” multi-information display, soft-touch capacitive switches on the control panel, hands-free power lift gate, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, a driver’s seat memory system and four-way power adjustable front passenger’s seat, Softex leather seat cladding and intelligent clearance sonar with rear cross traffic braking. The Connect Services by Toyota on this model include Remote Connect, Service Connect, and Safety Connect, plus Navigation.
  • The 2021 Toyota Venza Limited is immediately recognizable by the Star Gaze fixed panoramic glass roof with frost control. Other enhancements over the XLE grade include a 10” head-up display, digital display rear view mirror, illuminated front scuff plates, rain sensing wipers, and the Bird’s Eye View safety system with rear camera washer.
