Simplicity Car Care has named industry veteran Sean Kell as Director of Strategic Partnerships. In his new capacity, Kell will focus on strengthening national insurer relationships, aligning franchisee shop performance with carrier key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving growth across Canadian markets.

Kell brings over 35 years of collision repair experience, combining hands-on technical backgrounds with executive leadership. He holds dual Red Seal and Quebec 2nd Class certifications in collision repair and automotive refinishing, alongside a PPG Green Belt certification in Lean operational principles. His background spans facility ownership, technical shop management, and corporate operational leadership for major multi-shop networks. Furthermore, his experience across both English and French-speaking markets positions him to manage regional carrier dynamics effectively.

The executive appointment aligns with strong operational metrics reported across the Simplicity Car Care network. Driven by its proprietary repair management framework, the company reported an industry-leading national average cycle time of 11.4 days, representing a 30% efficiency improvement over the national industry average. The network also achieved a touch time efficiency metric of 3.2 and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 80.
