AkzoNobel (AKZA; AKZOY) today announced that Saad Ouaddahou is named Eastern Canada District Sales Leader, effective immediately. In this new role, Saad runs AkzoNobel’s Eastern Canada sales operation, reporting to Fred Daoust, Country Manager, Automotive & Specialty Coatings – Canada.
“Saad has been a valuable part of the Canadian team throughout his tenure with AkzoNobel, and his varied background makes him uniquely qualified to excel here,” says Daoust. “I’m very excited to have him in this new role.”
Saad started with AkzoNobel as Business Services Consultant for Eastern Canada between 2004 and 2006 and, since 2016, has been Key Account Manager overseeing industry relationships, such as Networks, Banners, MSOs and major key players in the automotive industry.
Prior to joining AkzoNobel in 2016, Saad was in banking as a senior portfolio manager and was involved in numerous transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, expansions and leveraged transactions. With over 13 years of experience as a banker in numerous senior roles with various leading financial institutions like Business Development Bank of Canada, National Bank of Canada and RBC Royal Bank, Saad acquired substantial knowledge of financing services and gained broad experience in almost all industry sectors including business services, manufacturing, retail, food processing and construction.
Saad is a Certified Professional Accountant, earning an MBA in finance from the University of Quebec in Montreal and an undergraduate degree from KEDGE Business School in France with a major in International Business.
