Simplicity Car Care announced a key addition to their Senior Leadership team: Kenneth Chung is now Vice President of Operational Excellence and Technology.
Kenneth’s expertise in service design, business process optimization, and digital transformation has been largely focused on healthcare and retail. He held a senior leadership position at LMC Diabetes & Endocrinology and also oversaw the merger of Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw Companies Limited.
“Ken’s background in Operational Excellence and Technology will help Simplicity Car Care re-engineer systems and processes to improve our performance,” says Domenic Prochilo, former Vice President who has since been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. “We look forward to the future growth of Simplicity Car Care with Ken, leading Simplifiers across Canada from coast to coast.”
Kenneth has extensive leadership experience in operational excellence and a track record of driving growth and performance. He will bring innovative ideas to Simplicity Car Care’s current and future performance-based agreements and create a road map for improved reporting and efficiencies.
As Domenic moves into the COO role, he will work closely with the Senior Leadership team, franchise partners, and industry stakeholders to execute Simplicity’s growth plans and launch vertical business lines to complement the brand. He will also focus on strategic planning to increase Simplicity’s market share and improve the profitability of its franchise partners.
“We have a history together before Simplicity Car Care,” says Domenic. “We met in a Lean Six Sigma program, where Ken achieved his Master Black Belt and I achieved my Black Belt.”
