The Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) announced that the CCIF in-person event, initially scheduled for February 3 – 4, 2022 in Toronto, ON has been cancelled.

The decision was made taking into account the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions, the increase in cases of the Omicron variant, and concerns for the health and safety of participants and community.

“The safety of all CCIF stakeholders is our first priority while planning the highly anticipated CCIF events. Unfortunately, the recent surge of COVID-19 cases has suggested cancelling the Toronto event was the most prudent step to take.

“We look forward to the Montreal event in June, as the CCIF Steering Committee is working on strategies that will add significant value to the collision repair ecosystem. We look forward to sharing the advancements. Many thanks to all sponsors and stakeholders for your support and empathy during our journey to COVID-19 recovery.” said Paul Prochilo, Chair, CCIF Steering Committee.

“This decision was as difficult as the previous ones we have had to make. We were really looking forward to reconnecting and seeing everybody, but your health and safety comes first! Planning is still underway for our Montreal event in June and our Vancouver event in October.” said Caroline Lacasse, Director, CCIF.

CCIF wishes to extend a special thank you to all of its sponsors and other contributors involved in the planning of CCIF Toronto.
