At the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Pro Spot International featured a prominent display with its regular booth and a host of equipment.
New announcements at the SEMA Show included the new PR-5 RBS (Rivet Bonding Station) as well as a new CWS-110V Cordless Work Station and new extension arms for the company’s innovative i4S welder.
Art Ewing, Marketing Consultant, Canada and Russ Duncan, Director of Sales and Marketing, Canada, for Pro Spot gave Autosphere an overview of the new products which are designed to help collision repair technicians work more efficiently.
The PR-5 RBS was designed from the outset to provide an ideal solution when working in busy rivet bonding areas in the collision shop.
Designed to increase productivity and efficiency, it also enables rivet bonding tools and supplies to be conveniently secured in a single storage cabinet.
Available with the PR-5 Rivet Gun system, the RBS also comes with a work surface and an available cradle that supports the PR-5 Rivet Gun in an upright position when changing arms.
The PR-5 RBS also features a Knowledge Center with a built-in WiFi tablet for tutorials and other interactive applications.
The CWS-110 Cordless Work Station is fully customizable in order to meet the needs of any collision shop.
It can be equipped with multiple storage locations, as well as monitors and screens, plus charging and power outlets to ensure maximum flexibility and practicality.
A cordless power unit enables the station to run for multiple days on a single charge, while providing easy to use indicators to notify the technician when it needs to be recharged.
The CWS-110’s versatility means it is highly suitable for a range of functions, from performing estimates, to blueprinting, accessing repair procedures as well as parts ordering/receiving.
Updates to the i4S Welder include the PSW-406 and PSW-520, so named for the size of their throat depth in millimetres.
These arms, which feature water-cooled tips, have been specifically designed with a wider reach and longer electrodes to get into deeper pocket areas found on a number of late-model vehicles.
Besides displaying a range of new products, Pro Spot also held its Distributor Awards ceremony at Top Golf, MGM Grand, Las Vegas, on November 3.
Winning the Canadian distributor of the Year, was Color Compass Corporation, acknowledged for its outstanding service and customer commitment during the difficult times we’ve all faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
