UniglassPlus and VitroPlus partnered with Breakfast Club of Canada to bring meals to those in need.

Until April 30, 2021, UniglassPlus and VitroPlus locations across Canada will donate one nutritious breakfast for every windshield repair and replacement.

“The start of spring is when we see customers come in for annual maintenance because, throughout the winter, bits of rocks and salt can hit your windshield causing chips or cracks. This spring, customers can care for their vehicle and support a good cause while doing it,” says Maurice Filion, president, Uniban.

Breakfast Club of Canada reports that, in Canada, two million children start school on an empty stomach, which represents over one in three Canadian children. Besides, business closures due to the ongoing pandemic have led to a rise in unemployment and poverty, therefore, increasing the number of people experiencing food insecurity across the country.

“It is more important than ever for us to be able to count on the support of important partners in the fight against hunger,” said Marie-Ève Desrochers, Senior Advisor of Corporate Partnerships at Breakfast Club of Canada.

UniglassPlus and VirtoPlus are also collecting customer donations throughout the year, should customers want to join in on the contribution for this crucial cause.
