CSN Collision Centres is excited to announce that they have signed their first collision repair facility in the province of Quebec.

CSN Martin in Quebec City becomes the inaugural CSN location in what promises to be a long list of Quebec additions. CSN Sales Manager for Quebec, Charles Boivin has proven a valuable asset to CSN and their prospective network shops in Quebec in his short time with the organization.

“I am thrilled that CSN Martin is the first shop to join the network from Quebec, the guys there are true professionals, they do very high-quality work, and it’s a family business. They fit in perfectly with CSN.” Boivin said.

Founded in 1952, CSN Martin was originally a garage that focused primarily on mechanical repairs, body work, and vehicle sales. Owned and operated by André Martin and his two sons, André-Philippe and François (the business was formerly named Garage Martin et Fils) they are known throughout the community for their familial customer-first approach.

“We take great pride in our work because this is our passion. It is rare for customers to come to a business and speak directly to the owner but whether its myself, François, or André-Philippe the customer is speaking to a Martin, and our name is our reputation.” CSN Martin Owner, André Martin said.

The transition from a mechanical garage that handles some auto body repair work to a full collision service business wasn’t intentional. It was the unique opportunity of operating a collision business that requires an understanding of cars, motors, technology, customer service, and the ability to be an entrepreneur that united the trio in the effort.

Their education comes from focuses on administration and industrial drawings but the intersection of the competencies required to be an outstanding owner-operator in the collision industry was the ideal way for the Martins to stick together as a team. “This industry is so challenging because it is constantly evolving and if you want to succeed as a business and as a leader, you have to manage the costs and requirements necessary to fix today’s vehicle.” André-Philippe said.

The Martins knew that to keep pace with the shifting landscape of the collision repair industry they would need to make a decision about whether to remain independent or join a banner network. When the time came to decide which network was right for them, there was only one logical choice. “CSN is known for their performance and ability so the only network we felt comfortable attaching our name, our reputation to, was CSN because they focus on quality as much as we do.” André-Philippe said.

CSN Martin was activated as an official CSN Collision Centre on February 1st, 2021.
