CARSTAR announced the opening of two new facilities, CARSTAR Lloydminster SK (City Centre) located at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and CARSTAR Lloydminster AB (City Centre) located at Lloydminster Alberta. 

This is the second and third CARSTAR facility for owner Shane Daerden, who also opened a CARSTAR facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta in 2019. Supporting the operations of CARSTAR Lloydminster AB (City Centre) and CARSTAR Lloydminster SK (City Centre) is Tom Parnell, a long-time industry veteran and leader.

CARSTAR Lloydminster AB (City Centre) is a 15,000 square foot facility with several certifications including SGI Elite, Ford, Nissan, Kia, Toyota, FCA, and is currently pursuing its I-CAR Gold status. CARSTAR Lloydminster SK (City Centre) is a 15,000 square foot facility that has earned its SGI Elite, I-CAR Gold, Ford, FCA, Kia and Nissan certifications.

Both Lloydminster facilities have a long history in giving back to its communities and look forward to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada as well.

In addition, to ensure their community feels comfortable trusting their repairs to the team, both facilities have implemented social distancing protocols, use disinfectants on frequently touched surfaces and prioritizes vehicle cleanliness.
