Au SEMA 2026, TraXtion a dévoilé l'intégration de ses diagnostics automatisés de pneus et d'alignement avec les plateformes Tekmetric et Kenect.
Integrating drive-over tread diagnostics directly into cloud shop management software and two-way texting eliminates manual paperwork while accelerating digital customer repair approvals.
Automated tire and alignment diagnostic provider TraXtion has established integration partnerships with cloud-based shop management system Tekmetric and text-messaging platform Kenect, unveiling the connected software during the 2026 SEMA Show. The joint architecture connects TraXtion’s TreadSpec and GrooveSpec diagnostic hardware directly with everyday estimating interfaces and customer communications.
For Canadian automotive service directors, independent repair shop owners, and retail tire counter advisors, delayed estimates and missed phone calls regularly result in deferred tire sales. Through the Tekmetric integration, real-time wheel alignment readings and tread-depth measurements populate directly into digital inspections and repair orders, enabling advisors to pair replacement fitments by vehicle identification number without manual re-entry. Simultaneously, the Kenect link sends colour-coded tire wear charts directly into SMS threads, letting drivers review recommendations and authorize work remotely.
According to Brad Kokesh, President and CEO of TraXtion, eliminating manual data transcription prevents diagnostic findings from languishing on physical clipboards. For repair shops and franchised dealerships across Canada, linking automated lane inspections directly to mobile customer approvals speeds bay turnover, strengthens tire-sale conversion rates, and maximizes billable revenue per repair order.
