Firestone, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, has launched the Destination LE4 highway touring tire, replacing its previous LE3 product line. Available across 65 sizing options fitting 15- to 22-inch wheel diameters, the tire features a non-directional tread design, deeper initial tread depth, and an updated rubber compound engineered to deliver a 16 percent wear-life improvement over its predecessor.
For light fleet operators, tire dealers, and service center managers, the product line offers a 70,000-mile limited mileage warranty to lower vehicle operating expenses across popular CUV, SUV, and pickup truck platforms. Manufacturer testing indicates a 6.9 percent reduction in wet stopping distances compared to key market alternatives.
Bridgestone engineers incorporated lightweight, high-strength body plies within the carcass architecture alongside high-consistency compound mixing to balance low rolling resistance with wet and light snow traction.
