The units introduce built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless laptop tuning via NSP software, rapid log extraction, and real-time parameter tracking through the free Haltech Connect mobile app.
Automotive electronic control manufacturer Haltech has officially released the Nexus T1 and Nexus T2, marking its latest generation of entry-level standalone engine management systems.
Serving as direct successors to the Elite 550 and Elite 750 platforms, the Nexus T1 (4 injector/4 ignition outputs) and Nexus T2 (6 injector/6 ignition outputs) are engineered to drop directly into existing Haltech wiring harnesses. Both units support up to 12-cylinder engine configurations in batch fire or semi-sequential modes.
The units introduce built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless laptop tuning via NSP software, rapid log extraction, and real-time parameter tracking through the free Haltech Connect mobile app. Additionally, the ECUs feature an onboard 4-channel oscilloscope capable of sampling any sensor output at 50 kSa/s.
Technical Highlights & System Features:
-
Wireless Operations: Complete tuning and 32MB onboard datalogging retrieval over Wi-Fi without USB tethering.
-
Diagnostic Scope: Integrated 4-channel oscilloscope for wave-form testing across engine and chassis sensors.
-
Multi-Level Engine Safeguards: Progressive engine protection triggers ignition retard, boost reduction, or fuel enrichment based on fault severity.
-
Motorsport Suite: Standard launch control, traction control, rotational anti-lag, 6-stage nitrous management, and trans-brake control.
-
Enclosure Spec: IP66 water/dust resistance rating with an operating range of -40°C to +85°C.
For Canadian tuning shops, performance engine builders, and motorsport technicians, the Nexus T1 and T2 units are available immediately through Haltech’s Canadian distribution network and authorized dealer channels.
