The manufacturer leads both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) Manufacturers’ and Drivers’ Championship points matrices within the Touring Car Racing (TCR) division, backed by consecutive podium finishes in every single competitive outing so far this year.

The grid configuration places the Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) stable in a dominant structural position on the fast, high-elevation 2.459-mile road course. The leading No. 33 Elantra N TCR driven by Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris anchors the team standings, pursued closely by teammates Preston Brown and Montreal-born driver Denis Dupont in the No. 76 car. Adding regional presence to the corporate roster is Canadian driver Mark Wilkins, sharing the No. 98 entry with Maddie Aust, tracking to secure essential points on his home circuit where high-speed corner entries demand mechanical precision.

The Canadian campaign also integrates a targeted regional corporate social responsibility footprint. Through the Hyundai Hope on Wheels framework, the manufacturer is maintaining its pledge to donate $100 for every race lap led by a Hyundai vehicle. 

For the Bowmanville round, Hyundai Canada will fully match the financial inputs generated by Hyundai Motor America, with all proceeds from the specific weekend event allocated directly to Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to fund localized pediatric oncology initiatives.
