The paint treatment honors the brand’s historic “High-Impact” color program launched in the late 1960s, which birthed collector staples like Plum Crazy and Hellraisin. Engineered utilizing a high-gloss clearcoat solution, the Purple Haze pigment profile acts as a shifting metallic matrix, reflecting high-visibility violet hues under direct ambient sunlight before transitioning to a deep, dark purple under low-light or shaded conditions. 

According to internal consumer indexing data, exterior paint choice is nearly three times more critical to buyers within the full-size muscle car segment compared to aggregate industry benchmarks, tracking as a top-three purchase driver for the vehicle. 

For Canadian dealer principals and sales desks managing the next-generation platform roll-out, this factory option—carrying a U.S. MSRP baseline of $795—represents an immediate high-margin upsell opportunity.

The Purple Haze option is open for ordering across all multi-energy vehicle configurations as the platform lands in regional Canadian dealer showrooms:

• Charger R/T (ICE): Standardly equipped with the 420-horsepower 3.0L twin-turbo SIXPACK inline-six Hurricane architecture.

• Charger Scat Pack (ICE): Anchored by the High-Output version of the SIXPACK powertrain, delivering 550 horsepower. 

• Charger Daytona Scat Pack (EV): The brand’s flagship all-electric, 400-volt track option delivering 670 horsepower and instant all-wheel-drive torque vectors. 

A 550-horsepower, gas-powered Charger Scat Pack painted in the new Purple Haze configuration is scheduled to make its formal public debut at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals from July 10-12, with order banks actively open across the franchise network.
