Highlighting Canadian leadership within the continental automotive distribution channel, Sean Stokes of Canadian Tire Corporation has been awarded the Art Fisher Memorial Award.
The distinction, which stands as the highest honor presented by Federated Auto Parts, was officially delivered to Stokes by Federated CEO Sue Godschalk during the recent Automotive Parts Services Group executive conference.
Named after Federated founder Art Fisher, the annual memorial award recognizes an executive member who has demonstrated long-term corporate stewardship, strategic alignment, and significant contributions to the advancement of the broader automotive aftermarket sector.
Stokes brings more than 22 years of retail operation and category merchandising experience to his corporate role within Canadian Tire Corporation. Serving as Vice President of Automotive Parts Merchandising and General Manager of PartSource since 2017, Stokes has engineered cross-channel growth strategies and parts program innovations throughout the Canadian commercial and retail landscapes.
“Sean is a valued member of the Federated executive board and his insight, forward-thinking approach, and commitment to collaboration have had a valuable impact on Federated and its membership,” stated Godschalk. This tier-one executive award validates the operational influence and supply chain scale command deployed by domestic banners across the North American automotive aftermarket.
