The second, third and fourth matches of TGL are presented by SoFi Season 2, sponsored by Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd., a global leading tire company of Hankook & Company Group (Chairman HyunBum Cho). Matches 2 and 3 were held on January 2 and January 6. The fourth match will be held Tuesday, January 13 at SoFi Center in Florida.
As TGL’s Founding Partner and first-ever Official Tire Partner, Hankook Tire has a multiyear partnership starting with Season 2. Following TGL’s successful opening match where the company showcased its global unified brand “Hankook” through on-site LED displays, television advertising, and live broadcast coverage, delivering a distinctive brand experience that transcends the boundaries between mobility and sports, Hankook Tire reinforced its premium positioning among fans in over 150 countries worldwide.
The fourth match will pit Jupiter Links Golf Club against New York Golf Club. Jupiter Links Golf Club, which will be making their Season 2 debut, features golf legend Tiger Woods alongside notable PGA TOUR players Max Homa, Tom Kim (Joo-hyung Kim), and Kevin Kisner. As a Florida-based team, they are expected to seek redemption for last season’s loss to New York Golf Club, backed by enthusiastic support at SoFi Center.
Season 1 runner-up New York Golf Club’s roster includes Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young, who are looking to secure a win vs Jupiter Links Golf Club after losing their Season 2 opening match.
Meanwhile, Hankook Tire continues to lead global sports marketing through partnerships with TGL and prestigious soccer leagues and clubs. The company enhances brand recognition through partnerships with UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), German Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund, and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad.
