CARSTAR Hamilton Midtown and CARSTAR Hamilton Lockwood, owned by Peter and Kenneth Chavez of the CAG Group, recently joined forces for their annual Soaps It Up car wash fundraiser and raised an impressive $8,510 in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The event was filled with community spirit and plenty of soap suds. Volunteers from the Mohawk Mountaineers women’s basketball team helped scrub cars, while mascots from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats brought extra energy and smiles to the crowd. Guests enjoyed car detailing giveaways, Forge FC and Ti-Cats tickets, a BBQ combo, and real fruit ice cream, making it a fun-filled day for a powerful cause.

Including funds raised during an earlier CF Walk, the two Hamilton locations have contributed a total of $10,718 this year to help support individuals and families living with cystic fibrosis.
