NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada announced the grand re-opening of its new Western Regional Office and Distribution Centre in Edmonton., Thursday, Oct. 2. The cutting-edge facility is designed to optimize supply chain operations, enhance customer service, and provide capacity for continued growth.

NTN Canada’s Western Regional Office, located at 1005 Eby Road S W Building 1, Unit 56, in Edmonton, Alberta, spans more than 12,500 square feet of distribution space and will offer the full range of NTN bearing products and services, with the added benefits of shorter lead times and lower freight costs.

Fully equipped site

The site is equipped with advanced warehouse automation technologies to assist with product sorting, picking and packing, and provides real-time and advanced inventory management. With a strategic floorplan, the facility optimizes the flow of goods to support same/day next-day shipping and quick-turn requirements. Additionally, the Distribution Centre features product staging areas, loading bays, and is equipped to facilitate overseas containers, providing customers with more choice and convenience in how they source their bearings.

In addition to the availability of more product, NTN’s customer base will have access to a facility that is designed for on-site customer interaction. The building features spacious conference rooms to provide clients with local support and technical training and an expanded distribution centre to further enhance NTN’s ability to deliver products with speed and reliability.

To celebrate the opening, NTN Canada is hosting a grand opening event with customers, suppliers and team members. With a western BBQ theme, the event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tour, dinner and refreshments. Visitors will be provided with an educational tour of the Western Regional Office featuring the unique bearing services and programs available to provide customers with the support they need to maximize bearing performance.
