The PDR & GPR Competition took place in Montreal, Canada, from July 11–13, 2025, bringing together elite technicians from around the world in a showcase of skill, passion & innovation. Sponsored by Anson PDR, the event featured 10 competitors selected through public voting, representing various countries: Gene Fetty (USA), Martin Sadler (England), Menfis Hurachi (Brazil), Miroslav Hubenko (Ukraine), Oleksandr Doronin (Quebec), Pak Narlin (Canada), Pablo Rocha (Mexico), Vladimir Polacek (Czech Republic), Wei Wu (China), Zeeshan Anjam (Germany).
Judging the competition were four internationally leaders in the industry: Arilson Guedes (Brazil), Charles Aoun (Canada), Ken Clark (USA), and Craig Dyer (USA), owner of Anson PDR.
Day one kicked off with live demonstrations from Camauto Pro Tools. Attendees had the chance to see the latest tools from Anson PDR & Camauto, ask questions, and explore techniques firsthand. A random draw assigned each competitor a dent to repair, allowing them time to inspect the damage and prepare for the following day.
Repairs began at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to observe a wide range of repair techniques from across the globe, as competitors worked intensely throughout the day. The competition resumed on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., with all dent repairs concluding at 6:00 p.m. Judges then evaluated each panel, with scores placed in sealed envelopes to be revealed during the evening’s Gala Dinner.
In the final celebration, the winners were announced: Miroslav Hubenko from Ukraine claimed first place, while Menfis Hurachi from Brazil earned second. All competitors received certificates of participation and gift packages courtesy of Camauto.
This memorable event not only highlighted the precision and talent within the PDR & GPR industry but also underscored the global community’s passion for innovation and craftsmanship.
