Autosphere Mag has learned from Advance Auto that Steve Gushie has left Carquest Canada.

As Cliff Cermac, Director of PR for Advance Auto said, “We are grateful for Steve’s contributions to the Carquest business. We have begun the search for his successor who will focus on continuing Carquest’s growth in Canada.”

Steve joined Carquest in 1979 as a Warehouse Associate. He was promoted to an in-store sales position before rising to serve as a Store Manager. From there, he was promoted into numerous leadership positions, including Financial Director, General Manager and Vice President of Carquest’s Ontario operations. He served as Division President, Carquest Canada for the last 16 years.
