Linglong Tire Americas officially hosted its first-ever ride-and-drive experience at Red Rock Canyon, executing a strategic marketing push for its expanding off-road and light truck tire portfolio.
The technical field event highlighted the company’s Rugged Terrain (R/T) and Crossover Terrain (X/T) tire lineups under its Atlas and Leao brands, putting the treads to the test across loose gravel and steep, rocky inclines.
Engineered by a regional development team to withstand diverse climatic environments, the tires target high-volume SUV, light truck, and crossover segments. Manufactured in Thailand, both the Atlas Priva and Leao Lion Climber series are available in 16- to 22-inch rim fitments.
Functionally, the R/T lines focus on optimized wet or wintry grip, high-strength casing protection, and open-shoulder block traction, while the X/T variations introduce variable pitch sequencing to suppress highway road noise alongside high-angled lateral grooves for water evacuation.
“Though we produce tier-one and tier-two-quality tires, our prices are very cost-effective. That’s part of our competitiveness in the market,” stated Jason Lee, Regional Sales Manager for Linglong Tire Americas. To ensure steady logistics and product availability for independent service bays and tire retail stores, the manufacturer is leveraging established wholesale distribution agreements with major corporate partners, including TBC Corp., Tire Alliance Groupe, and Mavis Tire.
