Schrader, an aftermarket brand of Sensata Technologies dedicated to manufacturing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), has announced the appointment of Yanick Leduc to the position of North American Technical Team Leader.
Known for offering TPMS training, Schrader shares its knowledge and expertise with the aftermarket distribution chain through face to face training sessions as well as online and offline resources.
Since joining Schrader three years ago, Leduc has been providing training to the company’s customers in Canada and the U.S. The company states in a release that he also played an important role in transforming several training initiatives and program launches.
“Yanick has been a huge asset to Schrader and is always looking for ways to add more value,” says Kevin McSherry, Head of Global Product Management and Technical Services.
“He is always willing to help any way he can, whether it be students starting their careers in automotive or any of Schrader’s customers. His work ethic and passion make him the best candidate for this position.”
Leduc has taken over the role of the Technical Team Leader from his predecessor W Rippetoe, who decided to join a different noncompeting organization. Schrader has expressed its gratitude to him for his dedicated service to the company for 17 years.
“W Rippetoe was really the face of the Schrader brand when it came to our training programs and shows great passion in everything he does,” says McSherry. “On behalf of the entire Schrader team, we truly wish him the best as he takes this new step in a different direction.”
Due to these changes, Schrader is currently also looking to fill two open technical trainer positions for North America.
