Name change and management structure will impact all retail banners.

Effective March 12, 2020 Unimax Tire has officially change its name to Unimax. In addition, all Unimax retail banners are now managed and operated under Point S Canada.

In a written statement issued by Point S Canada, the company explained that Unimax Tire has evolved over the years to the point where it outgrew its ‘Tire’ moniker. Once a tire company, Unimax has diversified to offering a multitude of automotive products and services under one roof.

“It’s important that we diversify our offering to meet the needs of our dealers as well as our customers. Our new name simply signals that we’re evolving with the current market,” says Bruno Leclair, president and CEO of Unimax & Point S Canada.
