Alcoa Introduces New Aluminum Wheel

New aluminum wheel is lightest on the market.

Alcoa Wheels introduced the next generation Alcoa Ultra ONE 22.5” x 8.25” wheel at the 2020 Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Now at 39 pounds, this is Alcoa Wheels’ lightest heavy-duty truck wheel, and according to Alcoa it’s the lightest on the market.

Along with the Ultra ONE wheel, the company is introducing another wheel innovation–Alcoa Wheels Hub Bore Technology, which reduces the hub-to-wheel contact area by up to 64% versus other aluminum wheels on the market, leaving less surface area for corrosion to form.
