Texts are sent automatically. (Photo: Kimoby)

The integration of two key technologies will allow tire retailers, as well as car dealers, to automatically text customers their vehicle inspection results.

Kimoby, the developer of a texting platform for the automotive industry, and Hunter Engineering have announced the integration of Kimoby’s technology with Hunter equipment, allowing vehicle inspection results to be sent automatically to customers via text – without the need for a service advisor or counterperson to manually transfer the information to customers.

Once a vehicle drives through Hunter’s autonomous inspection system – either Quick Check Drive or Quick Tread Edge – the captured data is automatically translated into a report, which in turn is automatically texted to the customer using Kimoby’s platform.
